Motor apprenticeships are available in all of the key dealership disciplines. Our most popular is service technician (car mechanic) and the fastest growing are the non-technical apprenticeships in effective communication and parts. For 2008 we've introduced two all-new technical apprenticeships in body repair and paint refinishing. Unlike most motor apprenticeships, which typically pack their students off to a local college on day release to learn their craft on whatever equipment they happen to have about, all Jaguar apprentice training is conducted in regular blocks at dedicated Jaguar training facilities by dedicated Jaguar instructors / assessors. The Academy, our state-of-the-art new training centre in Warwick, which opened in January 2009, is perhaps the best equipped automotive training facility of its type anywhere in Europe. You'll learn using the very latest models and equipment. You'll be taught throughout by the same instructors. And you'll train with the same group of apprentices each time, so you'll make good friends too! Plus a mentor will look after your day-to-day development at your dealership, and you'll receive regular visits from an instructor / assessor to provide assistance and ensure your development is keeping pace.

Apprentices are MAD (Making a Difference) is a fantastic and quite unique adventure, which involves Jaguar final year apprentices participating in a community project in the African bush, Amazon rainforest or Indian subcontinent. The event is now in its fourth year, and past participants unanimously vote the eye-opening, character-building event the most extraordinary experience of their lives. This year's MAD Adventure parties have visited Tanzania and Peru!

If your application to join the Jaguar Advanced Apprenticeship programme is successful, then you're almost certain to 'graduate' at course end. We've coached hundreds of apprentices in the past few years, and 95% of them have completed their courses and earned their NVQ Level 3 certificates. That compares with a nationwide apprentice pass rate of less than 40%. Put in the effort and between us we'll help you to be the best that you can be.
